Back in the early eighties Mikael was pioneering with the use of soft fox hair in his wings. This has since then become a standard on Scandinavian style of flies. Fox come in many cross breads and qualities. The use of superb quality of all materials is essential for us. All our fox is dyed by us in our special 15 colours. It’s dried and brushed and very highly selected. Our fox comes in four qualities. Two from body hair and two from the tails.

Fox Tail Supreme

This our regular hair from the fox tail in length 5-10cm is not regular in any aspect. It’s highly selected, dyed and brushed with love which makes it well worth the Supreme label. Tapered it creates a good drop formed swimming wing with good volume. We use this for flies from 5cm and up to 10cm.
